A simple yet comprehensive translation of the Quran for those treading the path of suluk

The Quran has been translated into many languages by many different scholars.  There are a large number of translations of the Quran in the Urdu language.  Among .the most prominent of these translations is the Bayanul Quran of Maulana Ashraf Ali Thdnwf rahlmatullahialayh who is unanimously accepted as the mujaddid (reformer and rejuvenator) of our times.  An abridged English translation of Bayanul Quran is now presented here.

The present translation covers surah al-Fatihah and thereafter surah ad-Duha till the end of the Quran.  These surahs have been selected because they are most regularly recited in our salah.  Unfortunately, many of us do not understand these surahs despite reciting them for years on end. If a person endeavors to study the present translation of these surahs and the commentary thereof, he will, insha Allah, begin to understand them both in salah and out of salah. This will, insha Allah, facilitate more concentration in salah.

A distinguishing and added feature of this translation is that it contains the Masailus Suluk of Maulana AshrafAli Thanwl rahmatullahialayh.   This would obviously appeal to those who are following the path of tuwassuf.   We can safely say that this translation is of paramount importance to the salik -  the one who is treading the path towards true recognition (marifah) of Allah

It is hoped, that by studying this book, the layman and the salik, will: .

3. start concentrating in his salah
4. start getting closer to the true recognition of Allah
